Accute limpy leaves on acer
The leaves on my bonsai have, within 48 hrs, have become limpy looking and are drooping almost 90 downwards. My watering and sun exposure has not changed. The bonsai is an acer, about 5 years old, with not previous issues. My concern is not to loose the tree.
Its hard to ultimately diagnose your Acer's problem without all the information. Unsure where you live but it is quite common for an Acer's leaves to become droopy coming into Autumn.
I would be testing the pH level in the soil, and checking the roots and foliage for signs of pests or disease. If you haven't changed it's watering regime then the problem must be simple!
