best beginners choice for bangalore (tropical savannah) climate

what would be the easiest tree for an ametuer to start with in bangalore. we have a mostly moderate tropical climate. min temp 15C and max 35C.

I would go with a Ficus or a Juniper!

Both work well in moderate climates, the Ficus is more suited to your climate but are often grown indoors.
