root over rock ficus

What's the best way to start a root over rock ficus from either seed or cutting?

As far as the Ficus goes, it doesn't actually matter how you start the tree off. Obviously you will have much more control over a seedling, but the wait is much longer! A small cutting from a youngish plant should do the trick....... Just ensure you choose a healthy cutting and keep an eye on the Ficus roots. If you grew from seed you would still have to repot anyway and incorporate the rock when the seedling grows.

Growing from a cutting will skip this unnecessary stage!
