Starting my bonsai

I am new to bonsai but it?s something that interests me. I have read from loads of websites trying to get the right information to start without killing my trees but the more I read the more confusing it becomes. Your guy's website has been great in taking all that information and making it simple. I do have a question though about a few saplings that I have collected. I understand a fair bit on how to stunt the trees but I am worried that they may still be too small or young to start these processes. Should I be waiting a few years before I start with this?

Hi Courtney
Basically you should start looking at dwarfing trees as they reach around 2-3 years old. You can cut back branches as they grow. They are quite resilient!
thanks for stopping by!
