what kind of tree is this?

Hi... I am new to "Bonsaing"...I purchased this potted tree...I am trying to find out what kind it is..also, if it is toxic to cats...

Hi Bo,

It's pretty hard to tell from the photo, but it could be a Ficus or an Elm, if the leaves are oval shaped with serrations, its an elm!
